同学们期待已久的STEAM公开课如期而至,正式上课前,潘老师为大家播放了一个有趣的小视频作为Warm-up,并提问大家从视频中看到哪种衣服种类:What kind of clothes did you get from this video?
同学们浓厚的求知热情被瞬间点燃!大家抢先举手发言:“trousers, T-shirt, dress, socks, shoes,coat, skirt, shorts, sweater......”"真棒!大家都把衣服的种类找出来啦,下面就让我们抬头看着黑板,跟随老师大声朗读这9个单词吧!
TPR练习游戏
Game
TPR(Total Physical Response)“全身反应法”, 是美国加州心理学家 James J.Asher提出来的。全身反应教学法注重的是语言学习中的互动模式,让小孩子活泼、好动的特点得以充分发挥。
潘老师带领同学创新地进行了TPR练习游戏,她站上讲台,赋予每一个单词一个动作,学生们需要坐着读或站着读,同时设置炸弹,引导他们朗读的时候保护头部,从而使他们通过身体的动作反应来感受英语,从而加深对英语单词的记忆和理解。潘老师向大家介绍了新朋友Lily,并邀请学生上台为Lily挑选衣服。“Who can come here and pick out some clothes for Lily?”认识了新朋友,同学们非常开心,大家齐刷刷地举手,争先恐后地表示想上台为Lily搭配。潘老师在鼓励的同时,也询问在座学生的意见:“Lily英俊/漂亮/可爱吗?”
同时,潘老师引导同学们使用英语描述出Lily的衣服。搭配欢快的课堂氛围,同学们的英语口语水平得到了明显的提升!

精彩有趣的实践活动开始啦,潘老师给大家分发了四件纸衣服和一张作业纸,邀请学生们给作业纸上的熊猫Lily挑选衣服。计时器10分钟倒计时,同学们需要自己为Lily的服饰搭配完成一篇小作文~同学们马上投入了实践,用桌子上的胶棒为Lily粘贴衣服、用彩笔为Lily涂上颜色,“大家都是手工小能手!”旁听的主任老师们纷纷竖起大拇指赞扬道。

"Time is up. Who wants to show your work and introduce it for us?"为Lily搭配好新衣服之后,潘老师邀请学生带着作业纸上台展示,向大家介绍服饰的搭配理念。同学们纷纷举手发言,上台的同学站上讲台丝毫不怯场,声音洪亮,用流利的英语向老师同学介绍自己的好朋友Lily。
